Beautiful Bhutan Tour (5 Nights & 4 Days in Bhutan)

In this tour, you will get time to get the feel for Bhutanese cultural and enable you to get off the beaten track in Haa Valley, besides visiting the major dzongs (fortress) and monasteries of western Bhutan with some short hiking in the Himalayan Kingdom.

Day 01. Paro – Thimphu.
Receive at Paro Airport by the representative of Authentic Bhutan Tours. We will visit National Museum, Paro Dzong.Lunch at Paro. After lunch, drive to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. The drive will take about 1hour 20minutes. On reaching Thimphu, we will do a short hike, Wangditse Hike. The hike starts from BBS tower till Dechenphodrang, through pine forest. From this hike we can see the Thimphu town (Capital City) beautifully. The hike will take about 1hour 30minutes. Evening stroll around Thimphu town. Dinner and over night stay at Thimphu, Hotel.

Day 02. Thimphu Halt.
Sightseein in Thimphu - visit to Memorial Chhorten, Changangkha Lhakhang, Mothithang minizoo to see the National Animal of Bhutan (Takin), Zulikha Nunnery, Folk Heritage Museum and National Library. Lunch in Thimphu town. Paper Factory, Weaving Center and then Handicraft Emporium. Evening at Leisure. Dinner and over night stay at Thimphu, Hotel

Day 03. Thimphu - Punakha
Drive to Punakha over dochula pass (3150m). On clear days, we can see a beautiful range of Eastern Himalayan Mountains. There are 108 small Chortens on the pass. Before we drive to Punakha, we will drive to Wangdi.On reaching Wangdi, we will visit Wangdi Dzong. Then continue the journey to Punakha. At Lobesa, we will make a hike to Chhimi Lhakhang, which is located at a hilltop. The temple is also known as 'temple of fertility'. The hike will take about 30minutes from the road. Lunch at Lobesa, Village Restaurant. Continue the journey to Punakha. On reaching Punakha, we will visit the magnificent Punakha Dzong. After this we will drive to the Kabesa village till the view point of Khamsumyule Namgyel Chhorten.  Dinner and over night stay at Punakha, Hotel.

Day 04.Punakha-Haa.
Drive to Haa. The drive will take about 7 hours. Lunch will be hot pack lunch. After lunch, continue our journey to Haa. On reaching Haa, we will visit the Lhakhang Karpo (white temple) & Lhakhang Nagpo (Black temple) and walk around the small town of Haa. Dinner and over night stay at Haa, Hotel.

Day 05. Haa-Paro
Drive to Paro over Chelela Pass.The pass is about 3800m above sea level. This is the highest pass in Bhutan, where the care can take us. On this pass you will see beautifully the prayer flags are fluttering the wind. We can also see the mountain Jhomolhari (the goddess of mountain) on clear days. The drive will take about 2hours. On reaching Paro, we will make a hike to Taktshang, Tiger's Nest. We have to walk about 2hours 30minutes upsteep. On our way back, it will just take about 1hour 30 minutes, down stream. Lunch we will have at Taktshang cafteria.
On our way back to hotel, we will visit Kyichu Lhakhang and we will stroll around the Paro town. Dinner and over night stay at Paro, Hotel.

Day 06. Paro-Airport
Drive to Paro International Airport for your return flight. Your Bhutanese Guide and Driver will bid you fare well here at the Airport. We wish you a very safe and pleasant journey back to your country. We will hope to see you again.
